VIP Nail Lounge Denton

I liked how the first woman shaped my nails and the man that did my pedicure but the lady that polished them was rushing trying to help multiple people as she was polishing so it turned out sloppy. You can see she didn’t clean up the polish around my cuticles. I feel like they need more staff. Other than that it was a peaceful and relaxing shop. This is the first nail shop I’ve been to since moving from Vegas so I was hoping they’d be my go to moving forward but unfortunately I won’t be coming back and will seek another place. On a side note… I loved their prices!!!

Not even a week and these nails continues to break over and over for the third time I have to pay $8 for repair pair breakage. I would not recommend this nail salon as you can see the my full set looks a mess has lumps and bumps that was done by May. I have provided pictures below that shows it’s not time for a fill yet. I only have had these nails on so far a week by tomorrow I went the day before Thanksgiving. Update from yesterday not even two weeks yet and now all my nails are lifting. I paid $70 plus my revisits for repair price thanks for wasting my time and money. I added my pinky nail because I got this repaired Sunday and it broke all the way off today.

I’ve been to more than a handful of salons in Denton ; this one by far is my best experience … the overall 4.2 had me doubtful truly ; but Devon came through on my nails , she was very patient , open to ideas , and really had the desire of setting those nails as in the photo I had showed her , this salon aims for customer satisfaction and it shows . I’ll be returning! :)

DO NOT GO HERE! Terrible customer service from the manager. I wanted to find somewhere that was not as busy as my normal place since it was always hard to get in without an appointment. I found VIP Nails, the first few visits were great for pedicures but today I decided to splurge and get my nails dipped. I asked for almond and mind you, I have fat middle fingers and I was worried the nails would be too skinny, I even voiced my concern to the girl as she was cutting the tips. When she finished, the nails were NOT smooth, they were bumpy and you could see it under the finishing polish and when you turned my mail to look at it from the side. My middle finger nails were pointing upwards and you could see my natural nail on the sides. They were thick near the cuticles and not even smoothed to blend into my natural nail. I don’t like complaining, it’s extremely rare but I was not happy with my nails. Especially being a single mom with not a lot of funds to splurge on myself. I had the manager called over and let him know I was NOT happy and he pointed out that it “matches my natural mail shape” which it did not, and he asked me what I wanted him to do about it. I told him I wanted it fixed and pointed to the lady next to me saying I want them to look like that. He said everyone’s nails are different, I told him I understand that, that I’ve been getting my nails done since I was a teenager (I’m 34 yrs old) he didn’t want to hear it and started talking down to me in front of the entire salon. I started to get upset for his unprofessional approach. He asked me again what I wanted him to do and at this point I told him to just take them off, I’ll go to my regular place. He gave me a bowl to soak them off but never checked back in with me. My fingers were covered acetone and polish, he didn’t offer to clean them off or anything. Thankfully my salon was able to squeeze me in and they look AMAZING! Exactly what I asked for. I’m never going back to VIP Nails. Salon was clean and nail techs were professional. The first picture I showed her she was honest and said she couldn't do it but was able to do the 2nd option. I liked how it turned out. A stand back glance it looks great but when there is a close up look, you can see the lines aren't straight and several areas that needed to be "cleaned up".

DO NOT GO HERE. To say the customer service is not up to par is an understatement. The quality would be better coming from a five year old who painted your nails. From the moment my friend and i walked in every employee that we encountered had a bad attitude. They would rather sit and gossip than pay attention to what they are doing to a point where the lady cut my nails so short that i started bleeding, got nail polish on my phone, and all but refused to listen to anything i had to say. Meanwhile the lady doing my friends nails got dip powder over her cuticle and onto her skin and did not bother to fix it nor did she clean up under her nails. When all was said and done and its time to pay the manager came out and threw my friends receipt at her and demanded that she tip the lady from across the room. When i went up to pay, my card didnt work the first time so he told me i could not leave unless i gave him my iphone as collateral (Absolutely not happening) and after saying there is no reason to be rude, im not trying to cause any problems- i used apple pay and it went through and he again demanded that i tip the lady so loud that other people in the salon started starring. As we are walking out the door he again screams “dont come back” Dont worry sir, we definitely will not.

Do not go here!!! I should have read the reviews first! Left old polish on my hands and asked if she was going to remove it from my skin....she told me no! There was no I'm sorry or what can we do or anything when I expressed that this was a terrible job. I also wanted a design and said free range anything you want. They start at $7 and up.....they had examples of some really cool designs. She drew a few white slanted lines and said is that ok I said is that all??? Yep. I said no take it off she didn't ask someone else or try to do anything else. I had to leave with no design which i hate! All just TERRIBLE!!!!!!

Would not accommodate handicap individual. Been here many times for nail trim feet and hands and they have always allowed him to sit in a non pedicure chair to accommodate his handicap but today they refused. There is absolutely no other customers in the salon, everyone is sitting around refusing to trim his nails when they have many times before. They are making us go elsewhere
